Who We Are Looking For.

We are seeking a highly organized and dedicated Case Manager to join our litigation team. The ideal candidate will exhibit exceptional organizational skills, be proactive in managing case deadlines, and provide invaluable support to our attorneys and clients. Candidates should demonstrate a balance of empathy, strategic vision, adaptability, and a drive for continuous learning and growth.

Primary Duties.

Deadline Tracking:

  • Monitor and track all case-related deadlines, proactively ensuring timely completion of all legal and internal timelines.

Document Preparation:

  • Prepare various types of legal correspondence, ensuring accuracy and professionalism.
  • Prepare document productions, ensuring all documents are reviewed, labeled, and produced correctly.
  • Assist paralegals in preparing and serving other legal documents as needed.

Court Filings:

  • Prepare and file necessary documents with the court, adhering to all procedural requirements and deadlines.

Case Management:

  • Obtain required information from clients, ensure accurate collection and filing of documents for case preparation.
  • Oversee the litigation team’s calendar, scheduling appointments, court dates, and internal meetings to optimize time management.
  • Maintain comprehensive and organized client files, including all correspondence, legal documents, and other pertinent information.

Team Collaboration:

  • Provide general administrative support to the litigation team, including data entry, photocopying, and document preparation.

Qualifications.

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in a related field.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in case management or a similar role.
  • Proficiency in using Case Management Systems and other office software.
  • Exceptional organizational and multitasking skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office-based computer programs.
  • Self-motivated and able to take initiative.
  • Meticulous attention to accuracy, detail, and organization.
  • Knowledge of court rules and filing procedures (including e-filing).

Reporting Structure

  • The Case Manager reports directly to the Lead Attorney and is an essential member of the litigation team.
